This client was specifically looking for more flexible and versatile seating options around their dining table, as well as a thoughtful solution to their ongoing storage issues. The beautifully crafted bench features convenient storage niches located beneath the seat, perfectly designed for keeping baskets and other items organized, while a concealed end cap offers the ideal solution for the easy storage of dining table leaves. By pulling the end panel, which is securely attached with powerful rare earth magnets, the leaves can be effortlessly slid into place, providing both functionality and elegance to the dining area.

The top of the unit features beautifully cherry-stained birch, finished with a durable clear coating that not only enhances its appearance but is also designed to complement the existing woodwork throughout their home seamlessly. Additionally, the unit was thoughtfully placed over present in-floor heating registers, which were carefully ducted to ensure optimal and efficient airflow. This design choice also allows for easy access to clean beneath the unit, making it as functional as it is stylish.
